Her conception took place on the 29th of March, 1985 in Roswell located in the state of New Mexico. Gerina Michel Mendoza is her birth name. Gerina Stevenson's parents were Mexican Alan Stevenson & Rita Stevenson. Her parents are Mexican as well as American. From the time she was a kid, she has had a strong interest in playing activities. Gerina played golf for the first time at the age of fifteen. Gerina has graduated from Goddard High School. While in highschool, Gerina took home the New Mexico golf state tournament. As a volleyball player, she also competed in state competitions. The year 2003 was the time she was enrolled in the University of Texas. In her senior year she was the winner of every competition she competed in. During her college career she won her Conference USA Player of The Award and the Female UTEP Sports Athlete Award.
