The actress was featured on the famous American sitcom Friends. In this role, that she received the Emmy Award. Her role also garnered nominations to the Golden Globe and Tony Award. Applegate was in a variety of films. Applegate was featured in major role in movies like Grand Theft Parsons and Vacations. Most recently, she played an important role in Crash Pad (a comedy) and appeared as a guest star in A Bad Moms Christmas. Her involvement with charitable causes is extensive. As a breast cancer survivor she has been working to promote women's cancer awareness for a long years. She is vegetarian, as well as a supporter of World Animal Protection and PETA's anti fur campaigns.
